Mr. Fawwaz is an Islamic finance, investment banking, strategic advisory, and corporate finance external consultant with Elzar Advisory. His core experience is in the area of Islamic banking, strategy consulting, corporate finance, business planning, feasibility study, valuation, due-diligence, project financing, project management, sukuk, securitization, fund and REIT set-up, as well as financial product structuring and development. He has significant international experience working in Deloitte United Kingdom (UK) as an auditor before joining PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Malaysia as a strategic planning and corporate finance consultant focusing on Islamic finance institutions. He then migrated to Middle East with the responsibility as the Strategic Planning and Financial Controller for Al Watani Group, a MENA based conglomerate specializing in global trade. Afterwards he joined Amanie House of Investment as the Head of Business Development with advisory origination and execution mandate for public and private sector clients across the MENA region. He is currently attached to a sovereign related investment and real estate development company spearheading the business development and investment practice.

Fawwaz’s extensive career gave him exposures across a broad range of industries including financial services, real estate, manufacturing, retail, construction, education, communication, charity, and public sectors. Fawwaz is a chartered accountant (ACA) with The Institute of Chartered Accountant of England and Wales (ICAEW). He holds a first class bachelor degree in Accounting and Finance from The University of Manchester.
